This listing is for an antique vintage wood shafted 37" iron. It is a Spalding made Bonnie Mashie. The head is clean and not all rusted. Yes it does have the expected play nicks and dings. Please look at the zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old unmarked hickory. It has a very minor bend, I see no cracks and it has some play at the hosel. All hickory shafted clubs should be reset prior to play. The grip is missing. Great for display or as a gift for your favorite golfer. 34* Loft and a D 0 swingweight for play.If you are considering playing with this club, while I see no issues with this hickory shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage. These old hickory shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee hickory shafts against breakage when put into play.
