SET OF 4 VINTAGE STERLING SILVER CORDIAL CUPS - TOWLE #58 STYLE - $60 - (Richmond, VA)
This is a set of four sterling silver cordial cups with rounded lips in good vintage condition. Each cup is marked on the base with , which was the maker mark of the Mueck & Carey Co. in New York City, the word “STERLING” the number “58” and “Weighted & Reinforced”. The company is reported to have existed from 1940-1950 and was taken over by the Towle Silversmiths firm, which continued producing these cups with their own maker’s marks and the same item number and description. Each cup measures 2?" high, 1?" in diameter at the top and 1?" in diameter at the base. The weight of each on my electronic postal scale is ±01.0oz. The total weight is 4.05oz. These cups were a business gift to my father. There are few minor and hardly visible indentations on some sides. The major dents are shown in the photos. But look carefully because the phots are a part of the item description. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
