PZH Gouda Pottery Areo 8" Pitcher, Shape 2703, Floral Design, Dated 1950 Rounded vase with a large spout and flat looped handle. Pretty design featuring hand-painted gold and purple flowers and green leaves on a mottled background and a sawtooth edge detail. Interior is glazed in green. Factory markings on base and original sticker. No chips, cracks or repairs. Some stray glaze on the inside of the handle. Vintage PZH (Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland) Gouda pottery manufactured in 1950.Marks: Oval green/silver foil Royal Zuid-Holland Gouda label with crest. Impressed 2703, difficult to read incised mark, hand painted marks: 2703 Areo Royal Zuid-Holland, date mark for 1950, little house mark, artist mark, Gouda A.
