Acrylic Resin Cast Seashore Vegetation and Shells Trinket Dish - $6 - (Tennille, GA)

This is an odd item, probably several decades old, made anywhere from the 1940s to the 1970s, that appears to have been created by encapsulating in thick clear acrylic glass, over a black base plate, bits of vegetation and shells found along a seashore. It is about ¾ inch thick, about 7-1/2 inches long, with a dished out shape at each end, and it has no identification of who made it or when.
