DESCRIPTION of Postcards - For Your Consideration - VERY HANDSOME PAIR OF ANTIQUE – Early 1900’s EXTRA LARGE POSTCARDS FRAMED & UNDER GLASS - MOUNT VERNON MANSION , VA & CAPITAL WASHINGTON D.C. * Size Frame = 14 ½ by 8 ½ inches Postcard = 10 ? by 5 ? inches * CONDITION These two large postcards are in very good condition with just light foxing. Mattings have stains that do not go to the postcard. The gold painted wood frames are solid with light wear. The backing has never been removed and is as shown. A couple nails are missing on the Capitol Postcard and it has a black stain across the sky that is most likely from a postmark. Please use zoom to study photos for detail and condition.
