Thick Old Opalescent Glass Vase Painted Daisy Design In Green, Brown & White - $23 - (Advance, NC)

This handsome old vase is made of thick opalescent glass which has a painted daisy with buds and leaves. It's painted brown at the base in darker to lighter shade to just below the bloom. The photo of my finger behind the vase near the top shows the transparency as well as the ripples and air bubbles in the glass. Only a bit of the gilding on the rim remains and there's also a tiny chip.
