This is a great old majolica pitcher from sometime between 1850 and 1900 that is decorated with white morning glories with brown leaves. The body of the pitcher's design is corn rows and diamonds and the brown top is picket fence. The body of the pitcher is a turquoise that is varigated sometimes fading to white. The pitcher has what appears to be a crows foot crack in the bottom but it is under glaze and cannot be seen on the interior bottom. As with so much of old majolica, there is some production debris under the glaze on the inside of the pitcher There are no chips, cracks or repairs. It is 7 1/2" inches tall.
