19C FRENCH BRONZE ORMOLU IN SHAPE OF LYRE5 1/2" high & 3 3/4 " at widest part. Ormolus were used to decoratefurniture and lamps. Needs to have some extraneous metal filedfrom strings of instrument to give it a cleaner look. Purchased inParis in 1980's.
