Up for sale is a lovely antique forged iron strongbox.it's made of very thick iron, has a pivoting iron handle on the lid, and has acquired a lovely patina from age.the box has a faint wood decoration on the box that has faded over time.it opens on a heavy duty hinge and has a red lined interior.the box measures 5 3/4 inches long by 4 3/4 inches wide.it is missing the bottom locking mechanism.
