Vintage/Antique Aberdeen Wood Shafted Golf Club, Driver - $110 - (Manti, UT)
This is a vintage hickory shafted Aberdeen Driver golf club. It has the word, Aberdeen, engraved on the top of the driver and the word, Driver, stamped driver stamped on the bottom. The head is all wood, possibly persimmon, and we believe the shaft is made of hickory. It is in excellent condition for a vintage club with the leather handle intact and the wrappings on the handle and shaft also intact. The grooves on the face of the driver are mostly intact but have some wear on the outside edge. The shaft is in good condition but has about a 1/4 inch bend. The shaft It is 43 inches long and weighs 11 ounces. We found it in an estate sale and have no other information about it. It could probably still be used but we thought it a nice decoration to a golf themed room, den, or man cave. Please make us an offer.
