Trent Vintage Female Silhouette Tile - $200 - (Los Angeles, CA)

Trent Tile Company, Trenton, NJ 1882-1939 This is part of Norman Karlson's collection and can be seen in his book, Encyclopedia of American Art Tiles, Region 2, page 183. Very 3-dimensional silhouette of a Victorian woman. The glossy glazing is mottled with shades of pale blue, tan, beige and touches of white. Craze lines. It is in very good condition for its age; has tiny edge/surface chips. Measures 6" x 6" x 1 1/4" at its thickest.
