A lovely tea set and tray by Juventino Lopez Reyes. He was born in Mexico in 1915 and opened his shop, Plateria del Recreo in 1935. Tea set pieces have four scrolled feet which are connected to form a base. Fluted type panels on each piece. Handles are sturdy and functional. Total weight 6 lbs,5 oz. Set includes: Tea pot with hinged lid - 8 1/2" X 8 1/4". weight - 2 lbs,2 oz.Creamer - 4 1/2" tall X 4 3/4" X 3 1/2". weight - 11 oz.Sugar with lid - 5" tall X 5 1/4" X 3 1/2". weight - 13 oz.Tray with two handles - 20" X 12 1/2" X 1/2". 2 lbs,8 oz.Each piece etched with makers mark JLR. Sterling 925. hecho en Mexico. Condition: In great used condition. No dents or scratches noted. Interiors are very clean. All needs a good cleaning and polishing. An amazing set!
