Arts & Crafts Sterling Silver Hammered Creamer Jeweled Pitcher Portuguese Porto - $300 - (Princeton, IL)

Offering this exceptional little 833 silver Portuguese creamer or pitcher in the Arts & Crafts style. It has a hammered body with a rope detail on the handle that loops around a large green cabochon on each side and finishes under the spout. It has the 833 eagle for the Portuguese second standard inside a square punch for Porto. There is a very smalls tamp beside the eagle mark, possibly denoting the year or artist, but it is indiscernible to me. Measures about 4" tall and 4" from the tip of the spout to the handle. As you can see, it has heavy age-related patina and a couple small dings with some polish buildup in the ropework around the stones, but it is otherwise in good condition and is truly a showpiece. Weighs 113 grams (including the stones).
