VINTAGE LOT OF 14 1960's AURORA MODEL KITS, NICE COLLECTION, B-9 ROBOT, MORE - $2,275 - (Eastlake, OH)
If you are a fan of Aurora Model kits from the 1960's, here's a lot of 14 in various states that I have collected for the past 12 years, enjoyed owning and have decided to let someone else enjoy them now. I will list the item numbers in order with names, all are US models, no Canadian, etc., all have their original instructions, all parts have been accounted for [when I bought them I inventoried them and found them all to be complete], some I believe to be opened but new, never built and just a couple worked on. The Aurora item numbers are 148-130 the 2001 Pan Am Space Clipper, 352-198 Twelve O'clock High B-17 Bomber Formation, 409-100 American Astronaut, 418-100 The Lost In Space Robot [this one is beautiful and unbuilt!], 462-98 Superman, 467-149 Batman, 486-98 The Batmobile [nice and unbuilt!], 489-100 The Green Hornet Black Beauty, 707-98 The Seaview 16" box, 800-98 Madame Tussaud's Guillotine Chamber of Horrors, 805-198 The Addam's Family House, 813-150 The Invader's UFO, 816-150 Land of the Giants Snake and 817-150 The Flying Sub from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. As mentioned, all 14 have their original instructions in good shape, may be yellowed for some, the built models are The Guillotine and The Addam's Family House, both are complete and functional and done well [the man's head still drops into the basket on the Guillotine]. The paper views for the windows are in the box for the Addam's Family House. The B-17 Bomber Formation kit is not built but has some painting done and I bought it because the work is great, looks nice and has pamphlet and instructions in the box. On the Pan Am Space Clipper the skinny tip at the end of the ship is missing, broke off but otherwise the kit is complete. The beauties are the Lost In Space Robot, looks to be in original plastic and is definitely brand new and The Batmobile, many others, too..
