This listing is for an antique sterling silver souvenir spoon of the Court House in Toledo, Ohio. In the bowl is a picture of the Court House. On the top of the handle is the Seal of the State of Ohio, which consists of a rising sun, 13 rays representing the original 13 colonies, agricultural fields and the Scioto River. Below that is a ram with horns, corn and a very tall tree. On the back of the handle are illustrations of an American Indian teepee, canoe, paddle, axe, bow, and pipe. This is marked with the the hallmark for Mechanics Sterling, which operated in the 1890s as a subsidiary of the Watson, Newell Company. This is in wonderful condition and measures 5 3/4" in length.
