Antique/Vintage Asian Wood Marionette/Puppet,Hand Carved,Painted,Sewn,Ornate #4 - $500 - (Canaan, CT)

This wonderful old marionette measures- 21" tall x 8" wide, hand carved, painted and sewn clothes, very ornate and detailed, sequins and the clothes need to be pressed or straightened, the strings are tangled and need to be straightened, paint is pretty much intact, tail needs to be resewn in one section, look at the pictures, I have tried to give an accurate representation of all aspects of this marionette,top and bottom, clothes and strings and the flaws or repair. Head and body, legs and arms, feet and hands move, fingers are not hinged,and eyes and mouth do not move. #4, I have four of these marionettes listed, all different !
