This Alps Battery Operated Mystery Action Boeing 707 Jet Plane looks brand new and come with the original box. The airliner has beautiful, high gloss graphics depicting a Pan-Am Airlines aircraft. The box graphics indicate that it has “mystery, straight & in-circle taxiing action”, “blinking 4 jet engines” and “realistic jet sounds”. This airliner is powered by 2 D-cell batteries. When switched on, the engines lights start blinking and the unique front landing gear wheels turn driving the aircraft in a “non-stop” or “steerable” directional taxi maneuver dictated by the position of another switch on the under-side of the cockpit. You can see the reference to this different, front wheel drive optional motion on the closeup photo of the box.This plane and the box are in immaculate condition. This vintage toy is very rare and not to be found again in this pristine condition. This is the first time offered from my personal collection of battery operated aircraft toys.
