These adapter plates allow you to put aftermarket skiboards onto the Sledgehammer Freestyle 5.2 skibike. Many of these aftermarket skis have performance advantages over the stock "All Mountain" skis that are shipped with the Sledgehammer including better turning, ability to handle deep powder, etc. The kit includes 2 adapters for both skis based on the industry-standard 4 cm hole spacing. On the Sledgehammer side there is the 6 hole pattern that the stock brackets have (3 cm / 5 cm) and all stainless hardware. Simply unbolt your All Mountain skis, attach these adapters to your aftermarket skiboards (use recommended torque), place the rubber separator on top of the adapter and attach the Sledgehammer brackets to the adapter. Torque to 10 ft*lb. You are ready to go! These are precision CNC milled polyethylene adapters that give you the added advantage of telling if your skiboards are canted at a glance: since the adapters sit perfectly straight on the skiboards and are the same outline as the bottom of the SH brackets you can tell if the skis are on straight if the adapters and brackets are inline. No large straight edge required. Stainless bolts are 6mm diameter which fits non-track (Burton) skiboards. Almost indestructible.
