The Martin Professional Alto Sax Saxophone 1961 Rare! SN# 212562 Beautiful example of Martin's finest craftsmanship.It plays very well. Intonation is excellent. Warm resonate tone. Original lacquer is 85% in tact.Pads are old and will need replacing at some point.No major dents. Looks like a dent was removed on back below the thumb restand in the bow area (see pics). Mechanically, it is working the way it should, of course as with any vintage instrument,you will probably want your own tech to check it out. This sax has been in storage for some time and needs a good home.Comes with original case in decent shape, the padding inside the lid needs to be glued back. No mouthpiece is included.
