The book itself shows a lot of use. The pages are intact and clean. There is a presentation written on the first page otherwise there is no writing In the book. The covers are whole but show a lot of wear and weathered exposure. Overall this is a great package for the Appalachian Trail hiker or the day hiker in Maine.
