Antique Traverse Sled with Original Antique Steering wheel - $985 - (Cummington, MA)

A rare antique traverse sled with a steering wheel . Most of it is in useable condition except for one rear runner , the wooden runner needs to be replaced and the metal runner re-attached. It is 8' long , the seat is 10 1/2 " wide, the wooden runners are 33" long , and the sled stands 12 1/2" off the ground. The steering mechanism works well. It used to have a bell , the wiring is still there. A traverse sled works well on snow packed roads and can pick up a lot of speed. We have had this one for about 35 yrs . It was handed down from friends. With a little fixing up it should work well .
