Vintage Remington Super 660 Chainsaw - $175 - (Ida Grove, IA)
Vintage Remington Super 660 chainsaw, 82cc, this model was introduced in 1963. Comes with 16" Remington roller-nose bar and a good chain. The saw starts, runs, and idles as it should. Temperature was 9F last week when I made the video, I wasn't real interested in fine tuning the carb. You may have to adjust the carb for different altitude and temperature. Manual oiler works as it should. Rim sprocket shows some wear but is usable. Selling the saw AS IS with no guarantee and no return. Bought this saw many years ago, never cut with it. It's been on display in my dry basement ever since. Serious ear protection is a must. The "muffler" may have had a screen over it at some point, but it's pretty much just a hollow noise diverter now. This saw has the loudest, sharpest exhaust note of any saw I've ever owned. It needs to find a new home while I still have some of my hearing left. Stated shipping is for the lower 48 only.
