Here is a Fantastic Plains, late 1870s-1890s ,Native American saddle pad. tanned buffalo hide ,glass seed beads,grey tradecloth, thread sewn.The four corners of this pad are decorated with beaded patches and drops.Beautiful beaded design.These are extremely hard to find in this condition, no bead loss, clean, Bought out of a great Billings Collection. 24” long 32” wide .Very good condition. Pad saddles were often made for trade to various tribes on the Plains.Most of these are in High end Native American collections, High end Galleries or museums. High bidder pays 35.00 s/h US only!
