Intro to Pottery with Artist Janelle Slone - N.A. - (Fort Wayne, IN)

In this beginner level pottery and sculpture workshop artist Janelle Slone will guide each student through beginner pottery and sculpture techniques including exploring hand building, bead and stamp making, coil pot design, sculpture, and throwing on the pottery wheel. After class, Janelle will fire all of the projects in her studio, and glaze them with the option of 3 different colors to choose from. Students in this workshop can also have the option to paint their projects with acrylic paint and clear sealant after they are fired. No previous art experience is required and all art materials will be provided. Rhapsody Art Carousel will be providing appetizers and beverages. This workshop is designed for ages fifteen and over.
