Its hard to find good children horses. And harder to find horses that will easily trot and lope with an easily controlled go when asked. And an excellent woah. Roanie is very experienced with ranch work. He has been primarily ridden and worked by children in our program. He originated on a cattle ranch before traveling to Michigan to live with us. We have used him in our lesson program. Trail riding and competitions. He has traveled to other barns for team sorting practice and team penning. He also has experience in roping before. But not with us so I dont have any experience with that. He has done barrels and poles and other play day events. He is pretty fast when asked and still has get up and go. He has really nice tight and balanced barrel turns. He is not a 1D horse by any means. But he can easily keep up with 2D with a spunky kid who will push him. He is the perfect entry level rodeocontesting horse to teach your young cowgirl. He is not hot and he does not require a tie down.
