2 Van Springel Cycling poster Tour de France fixie l'eroica merckx paris rokado - $10 - (Pullman, WA)

Two vintage centerfold posters of Herman Van Springel. Van Springel's claims to fame include winning the ultra-marathon classic Bordeaux-Paris like, 7 times or something crazy like that. He also was in the Tour de France yellow jersey on the very last day of the race in 1968 but was beaten in the TT by Jan Janssen. He also won a ton of classics, the TdF green jersey, and was a contender against riders like Gimondi and Merckx. I don't feel like he's given his fair acclaim in the bike racing history books.
