Circa 1890 English George III style mahogany partners' desk having a three section gilt tooled leather inset top, each side with three frieze drawers; the center drawer opening to a further leather inset writing surface. The pedestals with three graduated drawers and a enclosed cupboard raised on plinth base. Approx. height 29.5", width 60" depth 41.5". Provenance: Purchased from Franco's Antiques, Camden Passage, Islington, London on January 18th, 1986 $5,500.
