RPPC 1938 Gas Station Attendants Phillips 66 Quaker State Eveready Prestone WOW! - $75 - (Columbus, WI)

#00001This listing is for a 1938 postmarked RPPC Real Photo postcard featuring a classic gas station with 2 attendants standing out front next to the three gasoline pumps with glass globes. There are multiple gas / auto products displayed in the photo including: Quaker State Motor Oil, Phillips 66, Super Pyro, and Eveready Prestone. There does not seem to be any way to identify exactly where this station would have been located. The postcard was mailed Christmas Eve 1938 from Columbus, Wisconsin to Mr. and Mrs. Cal.(?) Vine of Waupun, Wisconsin. If anyone has information about this station, please feel free to share. This card is a standard postcard measuring 5 1/2" by 3 1/2". It is in great condition and would be perfect to blow up and frame. The green "haag antique" is not on the card, but on a plastic sleeve. This is done to prevent scanning and reproducing. Please look at the photos and feel free to ask any questions you might have. The brown border behind the postcard is a cardboard panel so that all edges of the postcard are visible. The postcard will be placed in an acrylic hard holder that can be re-used. Please pay with Paypal. Wisconsin residents will have 5.5% sales tax added to the invoice. US Buyer will receive FREE USPS Priority Postage. All items are sold with a SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. Thank you for looking at our listings.
