1908 Canada Sterling Silver 5 Cent Large 8 Variety Graded by NGC XF Details This is a very nice old Canadian 5 Cent silver coin from the era when Canada used Sterling Silver in their coin production. This metal content lasted until 1922, when Canada finally switched to the more common nickel content and larger nickel sized coinage. There is a slight darker coloring on the obverse, but NGC still has it graded in XF condition.
