Pre-war German/Czech flatback hybrid bass upright double - $4,250 - (Minneapolis, MN)

3/4 flat back double bass, German factory made, circa 1910. Gamba corners, wooden pegs. Instrument has been refinished in an amber brown varnish with edges painted black. Back has been replaced with plywood (Luthier's estimation was in the 1970's).This just got checked out by my luthier and the work included new fingerboard, tail gut, adjustable bridge, and endpin pin. All cracks were checked and repaired where needed.
