VINTAGE-1940-EMPECO NATIONAL CAN COMPANY NEW YORK METAL KITCHENWARE COOKIE TIN- - $10 - (Spooner, WI)

Offered for this auction is a vintage 1940's Metal Tin by Empco National Can Company, New York Metal Kitchenware. I believe this was a cookie tin--it is 5" deep x15" long, and 11" wide. It is in very good antique condition. There are a few dents from use, but is great in character. Structurally sound. Nice container. Inside of cover has no rust. Inside bottom has minor rust. There is 2 tabs on each side, 2" long and 3/4" wide. not sure what they are for.
