Old Aluminum FORESTRY BLM Bureau of Land Management Sign BEARING TREE - $9 - (Tignall, GA)

This sign is made of aluminum and measures appx. 6" x 4". Reads " United States Department Of The Interior, Bureau Of Land Management, Bearing Tree....It is unlawful to destroy, deface, change or remove any corner of the public land surveys or to cut down or deface any bearing tree pertaining to such surveys. Corner is Approximately __Direction, ___Distance and has places for section, posted by, date, etc." This came from the estate of a retired Forest Ranger. It has no date. Condition is good with minor scratches and what looks like paint smears. (see pic). Please check out my other listings.
