Vintage Art Deco Bakelite Lucite Community Silverware Chest Case Beige Swirl GC - $140 - (Hernando, MS)

This beautiful vintage beige swirl Community silverware chest is made out of Bakelite with Lucite handle and feet. This chest measures 16 1/2” long x 11” wide x 3 3/4” tall when chest is closed in good condition. There are minimal signs of wear on the outside. The lucite handle and 4 petal style feet are in good shape, see pics. Hinges are in good working order. The interior is pink in color with a few tiny signs of wear, see pics. The top inside portion is missing one screw on bottom left hand side that can be replaced. There is a tiny tear in the white satin top lining. The label on the inside reads: Community The Finest Silverplate. This silverware chest is absolutely gorgeous. This Chest dates back to 1950-60s. The lucite petal feet have a scroll Art Deco design.
