Trockadero Gloxinia Ballet Co. drawings Gay Interest - $645 - (Hudson, NY)

Fantastic group of three c.1974 drawings by American artist, Vito Tomasello. Depicted: Ekathrina Sobechanskaya. This unique all-male ballet company thrived in the downtown NYC gay culture of the early 1970's. Tomasello was particularly fond of the dance world: dancers, naturally, are the main subject of his work. There are no Sobechanskaya drawings known to exist outside our collection. Each measures 20 x 24 inches. Signed lower left and right. Posters not included, but are represented here for reference purposes.
