Excellent example of Edgar Payne drawing. This 17” x 24” pencil drawing is 100% original and 100% authentic. Drawing comes beautifully matted and with the book, "The Drawings of Edgar Payne 1883-1947", introduction by Jean Stern and notes by Evelyn Payne Hatcher (Edgar & Elsie Payne's daughter) and distributed by DeRu's Fine Arts in Laguna Beach. The drawing "Packer” is illustrated on page 54 of the book. This original drawing is from the Artist’s estate and has been authenticated by Evelyn Payne Hatcher, Artist’s daughter and Mr. DeWitt McCall, official representative of the Edgar Payne Estate. A letter of authenticity from our gallery will accompany this drawing. On verso is a label hand signed by both Evelyn Payne Hatcher & DeWitt McCall stating the authenticity of this drawing. ***PLEASE NOTE that there is some discoloration from age to the paper.
