Good ol's Fletcher's Castoria children's laxative was a recipe purchased in 1871 by Charles Henry Fletcher. It was and still is a beloved, mild tummy tonic for kids. This great old comic-strip-style ad features a frustrated mother, bullying her child into taking adult laxative medication, when wise old Uncle Joe saves the day - and the child's tender psyche - by urging mom to buy Fletcher's. We rescued the ad from a 1940 news and culture magazine and trimmed away extra age browning at the edges - all set for you to mount, frame, use in your own crafting or throw in an acrylic frame or magnet back and use to decorate your retro den, quirky bathroom or wherever house your medical stuff collection. ;) 12.25" X 5.25 We ship between cardboard and in poly mailers.
