large ,The family horse ,painting by Edwin Douglas ,engraved by a,c alais,gallery two stamp seal in low right corner ,artist was a British painter ,who was born in jul 14 1848 edinburgh scotland - many work by artist have been sold at auction, including favourite story ,a Gordon setter , and Jack Russell, sold at Sotheby in London,British & Irish art in 2012 ,sold for 98.975.the artist died in dec 1914 ,frame measurements approx height 41 1/2" width 33 1/2" . image measurements approx height 33 1/2" width 25 1/2" ,frame lose slightly color, left low corner ,connect little loose, still ok, otherwise excellent, ediz 148/2 made in italy edwin douglas flourished between 1869 and 1892 ,born in edinburgh,he was the son of james douglas .a note portrait painter and exhibited his firs twork .... ........ .......... .......... .......... ... ............ ............ .......... .....
