Antique possible salesman sample porcelain bathtub miniature collectible - $150 - (San Andreas, CA)

I think this is an old porcelain salesman sample clawfoot tub. It's obviously very old. I cannot confirm or deny if it is a Salesman sample but I cannot figure out what else it would be or why they would make a porcelain tub so small. It measures approximately 8 in front to back and approximately 4in side to side. this would be the perfect holder for some succulents.
