Antique Tombstone Lovell Mfg. Barn Rat Trap - Label "The Best Rat Trap On Earth" - $45 - (Taos, NM)

This antique rat trap, made by the Lovell Mfg. Company, is the "tombstone" type, so called because of the backing board shape. The label is hard to discern, but the Lovell rat trap was known as "The Best Rat Trap On Earth." It is in full functioning order and the spring and bale mechanism, though a bit tight, is rust free.
