Adopt Axle a Brindle American Pit Bull Terrier / Pug / Mixed dog in Louisville - N.A. - (Louisville, KY)

My husband owned a mom & pop neighborhood grocery for decades. six years ago a customer brought Axle (newborn puppy) to the store saying he couldn't keep Axle and would have to "put him down". My husband has rescued numerous animals over the years & could not allow this lovable puppy to be put to sleep, so of course my husband agreed to take him. We raised Axle at home as a puppy for awhile and then my husband took Axle to his business to live for the next 5.5yrs. My husband sold his business last April and the new owner did not want to keep Axle at the store, so we brought him home with us. We have a large rescue dog at home, along with six cats & we simply cannot keep Axle at home any longer. Our other animals do not like him & he has snipped at our big dog, so we try to keep them separated. He bit my niece's dog last summer. Axle is house trained & crate trained & will let you know when he needs to go out. He will do best in a home w/ no other pets as he likes being the only animal.
