For sale is an Intel WS440BX E139761 motherboard, with Gateway OEM branding in the BIOS. This board has been tested with both a 400MHz Deschutes Pentium II and an 800MHz Coppermine Pentium III, and it's fully functional with both CPUs. This board has an AGP 2x slot along with 5 PCI slots and one ISA slot. The rear I/O panel includes PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports, two USB ports, two serial ports, and one parallel port. An I/O shield is not included with this board. To allow the motherboard to fit inside the shipping box comfortably, the retention bracket has been detached from the motherboard prior to packing. To reattach the bracket, push the two pairs of screws through the holes surrounding the CPU slot from the bottom of the motherboard, place the bracket on top of them, and fasten the bracket's four screws. I strongly advise against updating the BIOS to retain the motherboard's compatibility with Coppermine CPUs. Early BIOS versions will report Coppermine CPUs as "To Be Announced" with speeds up to 700MHz, but they will still work normally.
