Antique German Zwiebeln-Onion Holder - $45 - (Fredericksburg, TX)

GERMAN ZWIEBELN Offered for sale is this antique German 'Zwiebeln' which means in English, onion holder. It was purchased from a German import store here in Fredericksburg, TX. called Der Alte Fritz which is now out of business. It is enameled, grey with white specks very similar to splatter ware or granite ware. The word Zwiebeln is written out in old German fraktur script. The condition is consistent with its age having chipped enamel in places but is structurally sound. Please refer to photos. It is roughly 9" tall by 9" wide and 5 and 1/2" front to back.
