RARE 10" Bennington Pottery Pitcher Rockingham Paneled Jug Flint Enamel Antique - $40 - (Walnut, IL)

Offering this large Bennington pottery pitcher with a Rockingham glaze. I could find no other example of this form with a stylized handle, paneled body, and shell detail at the base of the spout. There is some characteristic crazing and a handful of glaze pops as shown, but it's otherwise in lovely condition with no chips or cracks. Measures 10" tall, about 10 1/2" from handle to spout and 5" x 5" across the hexagonal base.
