RCA ViSYS 25255RE2 DECT 6.0 2-Line Corded Business Phone Cordless not Included This telephone is pre-owned. It shows substantial cosmetic wear with scratches, scuff marks, chips in the plastic and a broken battery cover. The phone was plugged in and did operate allowing me to set the date and time, display settings, sound settings and delete old messages. I do not have a home phone line so I was unable to test for a dial tone. The phone takes 5 "AAA" batteries (not included). The battery cover tab was broken off. I was able to access the battery compartment by pressing down on the end with needle nose pliers. This phone model comes with a cordless handset and base out of the box. I do not have this hand set and am selling the two line corded phone by itself without any instruction manual or box.
