For your consideration is a stoneware milk pan or a shoulder style mixing bowl made by Red Wing Stoneware. This company was located in Red Wing, Minnesota. It existed from 1877 to 1906. In 1906 it merged with Minnesota Stoneware Company (also located in Red Wing, Minnesota) and formed Red Wing Union Stoneware Company. The rim is 4 5/8" above the surface the bowl is setting on. The rim is approximately 10 1/2" in diameter.This bowl is an old item that was used There are chips around the rim. There is a chip on the base. In the interior's bottom is a hairline that branches out like bug antennae. The inside has a lot of marks from mixing utensils hitting it.
