Hand Coiled Vintage Tlaquepaque/Tonala Opaque Painted Vase/Pot - $32 - (Denison, TX)

For sale is a Hand Coiled Vintage Tlaquepaque/Tonala Opaque Painted Vase/Pot. The pot is in very good condition with light paint wear and some soiling. There are lots of variations in the clay and paint due to the primitive manufacturing process, there is also some soiling which I did not attempt to clean. The vase measures 7 inches high and 6 inches wide. The base is impressed, "Made in Mexico" and it probably dates to the 1930's - 1940's.
