"Balloon On Ice" 11" x 14" Framed Black & White Photographic Art~Larry Beckwith - $22 - (Edwardsburg, MI)
This unique framed and matted art photo comes in good condition, with minor handling wear and soiling to the frame (see pictures). The photo is an 8" x 10" in black & white. It is a picture of an icy river shore with downed trees, ice, and debris . It has a tag on the back for the 1996 Heartland Artists Regional Art Exhibit, which shows the title of the work to be "Balloon on Ice". I have two other framed photos by this artist. This was bought at the artist's estate auction in South Bend, IN. a couple years ago, which gives some background. His name was Larry Beckwith. His home was on the St. Joseph River. He was an avid photographer, and had owned a lot of high end equipment (Leica, Nikon, etc.). He was also an avid woodworker, with an extensive collection of tools.
