Medieval English Medicine/Poison (Knight) Container...circa 1500's...OCCULT? - $1,000 - (North Vancouver District, BC)

This is a very rare and old English Medieval circa 1500's medicine or poison bottle depicting a knight. Could've been used in occult or witchcraft practices (?). The paper label on the backside attributes it to a century or two later...but this is incorrect; this objects actually dates from the 1500's. Ex - North English collection of rare Medieval artifacts and unusual objects....purchased from a flea market vendor in the 1970's. The wood stopper/lid (a replacement of an original) is of a much later manufacture - circa 1700's. A small hole was bored in the bottom - probably for a necklace to be worn as a pendant. This is an important museum quality specimen!!...AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE ITEM! Measures 3 inches long.
