Korg Concerto SQD-8 8 Track Midi Recorder with Power Supply / Manual / Disc The Korg Concerto is a sophisticated and versatile, yet easy to use electronic device which can "record" and "playback" musical performances made on a digital keyboard instrument such as the Korg Concert Series Piano, or other instruments compatible with MIDI specifications. The Concerto does not record or produce sound itself. It instead records your keyboard playing in the form of digital data which it stores in its internal memory, and later reproduces. This data (called "MIDI" data), is basically a "list" of the keys you played on the keyboard. After "recording" your playing, the Concerto can then send the same MIDI data back to your keyboard instrument, instructing it to play exactly as you did. In addition to simple recording and playback functions, Concerto can also correct mistakes (by "punching in") set up a continuous repeat function within a song, play several songs in any desired order, and even simultaneously control up to eight different instruments playing separate parts, like a miniature 8-track studio.
