Recently brought over from France, this is a Beautiful Antique Vicorian Brown Velvet Ruched Petit Point Hand Embroidery Pillow. This Oval Embroidery has soothing shades of mauves, pinks, blues and greens. No moth damage noted, and part of rufflehas come unstiched as you can see in photo. There is an old repair to border of embroidery where it meets the velvet. pillow is filled with down feathers. The velvet feels buttery smooth.
